  • Co – ordenated care

The Diagnostic Laboratory is well equipped, capable of providing a complete range of investigations in the areas of:

1. Haematology

2. Immunology

3. Biochemistry

4. Clinical Pathology

  • Performs multiparameter flow cytometric analysis .
  • Samples are “stained” with a carefully designed panel of specific antibodies coupled to six different fluorescent dyes.

  1. Comprehensive panel - Leukemia/lymphoma
  2. Secondary panel - leukemia/lymphoma
  3. Limited panel - pancytopenia / lymphocytosis
  4. CLL panel
  5. Myeloma panel
  • Working Hours
  • Monday to Saturday – 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
  • Nephelometer
  • Specialist in protein assays (C3, C4, IgG, IgE, RF, CRP, ASO, Microalbumin etc.)
  • Fully Automated Reader in differentiation of antibodies against cell nuclei (ANA)
  • Intelligent Software
  • CytExpert with a convenient compensation library
  • Standardized QC
  • Automated instrument quality control procedures (laser delay/power,channel gain, mean fluorescence intensity, rCV) for more reliable stable results
  • Microplate Elisa
  • Screening test for specific determination of auto antibodies against
cyclic centrullinated peptide (CCP) and Ds DNA
  • Flow System
  • comprising of micro-scale sample tube loading (up to 30,000 events per sec) and automatic cleaning functions for inner & outer tube walls for reduced carryover
  • ImmunoFlurosence Microscope
  • This is for the detection of antibodies against cell nuclei (ANA).
Screening test for the detection of antibodies against granulocyte cytoplasm (ANCA)

  1. Pulmonary function test:

Pulmonary function test (PFT) is a complete evaluation of the respiratory system including patient history, physical examinations, and tests of pulmonary function. The primary purpose of pulmonary function testing is to identify the severity of pulmonary impairment.
  2. NCV:

A nerve conduction velocity test (NCV) is an electrical test that is used to determine the adequacy of the conduction of the nerve impulse as it courses down a nerve. This test is used to detect signs of nerve injury. NCV test service is available on all Thursdays.
  3. X-Ray:

X-rays are a type of radiation called electromagnetic waves. X-ray imaging creates pictures of the inside of your body. The images show the parts of your body in different shades of black and white. This is because different tissues absorb different amounts of radiation. Calcium in bones absorbs x-rays the most, so bones look white. Fat and other soft tissues absorb less, and look gray. Air absorbs the least, so lungs look black.
