Kerala Arthritis & Rheumatism society was founded in the year 2011 with the aim to spread awareness about disease and disability caused by Rheumatism. Ever since the society conducts campaigns in an attempt to answer queries and sharing patient experiences. Instilling hope and confidence in patients goes a long way in responding to the treatment as well.

Information Booklets, free blood tests, financial aids for the economically backwards, classes to caregivers of the patients are some of the social activities carried out by the society.

“Arthritis snehasparsham - PUNCHIRI is yet another step towards the Society’s dedication to patients suffering from Arthritis and Rheumatism. In association with Ankylosing spondylitis India Federation (ASIF), the group strives to provide medical and emotional support to patients who are unable to afford the expenses of long-term treatment. Generous contributions from various support systems are utilized to provide adequate and timely medicine.
