Dr(Col) Vishal Marwaha is practicing rheumatologist and teaches MD, DNB, and DM students at Dr. Shenoy's CARE Pvt Ltd. He has served in the Indian Army Medical Corps for 28 years from '88 to 2016 during which he was awarded the Chief of Army Staff Commendation in 2012, and Army Commander Commendation in 2008 and 2010. Upon retirement, he served as principal of Amrita University School of Medicine (AUSM), Kochi, and helped the school achieve excellence on all fronts. Under his guidance, the college was consecutively ranked number 7,6 and 8 in the past three years in NIRF National Rankings. He also serves as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. He has authored many research articles/books related to rheumatology.
